Synopsis
In Bhenduagram, on both banks of the Pilik River, live two communities, Ginda and Kullu. They are religiously opposed to each other, but substantially they are dependent on each other. An invisible hand constantly increases the divide between them, while benefiting from the confusion in between.
Then come two magicians, straight from the fairy tale. Their aim is to shatter misconceptions through stories, show the path to the future, and bring about reconciliation between these two communities. Through the tale of the union of Turuk and Guruk, the Golpobros seek to teach them the lesson of unity.
However, the gap between reality and fairy tales is vast. After hearing the Golpobros’ tale, Ginda and Kullu are momentarily mesmerized, but soon they state, “This is only possible in stories; in reality, things are much harder.” So, even though the story of Turuk-Guruk reaches its destination, reality loses its way in the chaos of communalism.
Can the final plea of the Golpobros unite these two separate paths?
