Founded in 2014 by bunch of young individuals led by Saurav Palodhi, it was not an easy decision for us to start a theatre group and make it survive in a time when a major shift had already begun with the advent of social media and other platforms which started changing the way people around the world communicate and voice their opinion.

It was our strong conviction that theatre is a tool that can help to socio-politically connect to the masses led to our first ever completely autogenous production “Buddhijibi” written and directed by Saurav Palodhi on 10th May 2014 at the Academy of fine Arts, Kolkata. The appearance of famous actor Mir Afsar Ali in the play ensured that the first push was strong enough for the newborn group to sail through the unpredictable waves of time in future.
