Synopsis
Maddy – is an ideal example of an Absurd Theatre whose dialogue, flow, structure tends to be strange. Though these texts are rich in terms of literature but are not commonly staged. Swavemir Srozek is one of the best Absurd Playwrights of the world and Maddy is its translation.
Whenever a power turns out to be fascist, when citizens become mere pieces of flesh, common people roar in revolt using the same machines built against them by the fascist power.
Maddy is the path through which the fascism is to be recognised and treated.
ম্যাডি, Absurd Theatre-এর প্ৰকৃত উদাহরণ, যার সংলাপ, চলন, গঠন সবটাই অদ্ভুত। সাহিত্য বিচারে এই টেক্সটগুলো ইম্পর্টেন্ট হলেও মঞ্চায়ন কম হয় এই ধরণের থিয়েটার। সোয়াভেমির ম্রোজেক পৃথিবীর সেরা Absurd Playwright-দের একজন আর তাঁরই লেখার ভাবানুবাদ ম্যাডি।
দুনিয়া জুড়ে যখনই কোনো শক্তি দণ্ডমুণ্ডের কর্তা হয়ে উঠেন, মানুষ যার কাছে কেবল একটা মাংসপিণ্ডের দলা হয়ে ওঠে, তখন সেই শাসকেই মানুষ শাসকের যন্ত্রেই সাজা দেয়। এই সাজা দেওয়ার জন্য শাসককে শোষক হিসাবে চেনার যে রাস্তা, সেই রাস্তার বিভিন্ন মোড়, গলি, চৌমাথা এই নিয়েই ম্যাডি।
