Kittankhola, an enchanted village which is surrounded by numerous green fields, crooked paths, rows of rivers and folk songs that fill the sky since ancient times. However, the main attraction of the village is the three-day long huge fair in the joy of threshing crops. Here the waves of thousands of people come from the surrounding villages and meet like the sea. There mingle different stories of their lives, love, joys, greed, humour and happiness in this fair. In the meantime, the respected contractor of the village, Idu Saheb arranged a Jatra performance and a long-desired Kavigaan of a famous “Jatra Dal”, a new surprise for the people of the village. The drama begins when Subal, the head of this Jatra Dal, sets out for this village with his actors. Therefore, the main theme of our play is the simple story of the lives of the above-mentioned people and their consequences during these three days of the fair. Kittankhola shows us how people from different parts come and mingle with each other like an estuary of a river
